It is not completed yet, but it is in an okay condition. This page would serve one of the objectives of having a blog, as a repository. By having this compiled list of the work I have done, you can have a glimpse on it. Who knows? Maybe one of you would be interested in hiring me in the future, haha.

Now it’s time to move on to the next objective, which is to post my commentaries. Another challenge, another journey.

But I did.

In fact, I have gone to the whole nine yards. Oh yes, indeed, I talk to my plants.

It started when we finally cleared up a small plot of land in front of our house. From the very beginning, Yudhi have repeatedly said, “It’s all yours.” Eager to plant my claws, I said yes. Then I did nothing. I didn’t know where to begin, as a start.

So, I did my homework. I went to the book store to buy some books on gardening. Oh , I was captivated by beautiful pictures of lush gardens with bright colorful flowers. In my mind, I took notes diligently.

Then one day, I went to go plant shopping. Equipped with well-thought choice of bushes and flowers, Zen-inspired landscape, Feng Shui-based plant arrangements to ensure good luck in life, I showed my reference books and pointed my selection.

And they say, “We don’t have these plants.” “These won’t grow here because it is too hot.” “These flowers needs to be exposed to direct and constant sunlight.”

Bla bla bla bla bla bla…

So I threw away my dream garden and bought plants that will survive in my garden – I hope.

After everything was laid down, I watered all of them. I secretly whispered, grow strong my babies, grow strong.

Everyday I glimpsed at my garden. I looked at their leaves, branches, flowers. I sprayed liquid fertilizers. I trimmed dry leaves. With my untrained eyes, I tried to notice any signs of grim death, a warning from the Mother Nature to forget this whole ordeal completely.

But no, everything turns out okay.

Yes, sure, it is far from perfect. And yeah, yeah, I know, I over-cut my red roses. Well, give me a break, this is my first time.

Now, my garden is full of colors of green, white, red, yellow, purple, orange and blue.

And there will be more to come!

It’s my second day of blogging and still I am changing designs and themes and everything.

Blogging is so damn hypnotizing.

It makes you are vulnerable.

I do so by visiting other people’s blog. My conclusion is don’t write too long. It’s painstaking for your readers to scroll down and down. Short posts are also cool, it feels like Neil Patrick Harris did in Doogie Howser MD TV series. Punchy, witty, sharp and intelligent. Moreover, it creates a feel -or an illusion- that your blog is always updated and maintained.

So I will keep my commentaries short, whenever possible.

The thing is, sometimes my fingers run by themselves. I have been known to many as someone who types faster than my own shadow, just like Lucky Luke. And well, sometimes I do have the tendencies to make sure that everything is well-explained, well-described and well-presented.

So some of my commentaries will be long. Only some, not all. I assure you this.

Now I realize that I have committed a crime in blogging.

Over-analysing myself, that is.

I am sure, the next one is just around the corner.

The first thing you do when you blog is to find the perfect design. It should represent who you are. It should accommodate millions of sharp witty thoughts you have. It should offer comfort to hundreds of million eyes that will read your posts hungrily.

I did try that.

Then, I think, phew. Why bother? I can change my blog design every day. And yes, maybe I will actually do that. In fact, I’ll create my own design, which will be the best one under the sun. And I’ll create some more designs as well. And more.

So whoever reads my blog, be prepare to be constantly confused. Not only by the design, but also by its content.

At first, personal blogs sound so self-centered. Next, sometimes forgetting helps keep me sanity intact. Moreover, I just don’t have the time.

But, I have to admit that I do enjoy reading other people’s blogs. Come to think of it, I do have the time. To avoid being a narcist, I can simply direct my commentaries to non-personal subjects. Lastly, instead of forgetting, (tons of) chocolate chips cookies can help me face the day.

And the magical words are: why not?
